How to login into my Client Area

— Changing details, making payments, managing my account

Your can update your details in the client area. You can also manage your domain names from here too. This is where you can make payments too.

To access your client area simply click this link: Client Area

How to login into my Control Panel

This is where you can control every element of the web space allocated to you. Normally our clients use this to set up business email addresses.

To access your Control Panel (CPanel) simply type ‘/cpanel’ at the end of your domain name and press ‘enter’.→ For example: www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

How to login into my Webmail

This is where you the server email system is located. This is where you can use your business email address without having to set anything up. Easy!

To access your Webmail simply type ‘/webmail’ at the end of your domain name and press ‘enter’.→ For example: www.yourdomain.com/webmail

How to assign individual email addresses

To assign specific email addresses to designated people you will need to login into your Control Panel.

1. Login to your Control Panel.
2. Once logged in you will see a list of icons. Click the ‘Email Accounts’ icon.
3. This brings up a new page. Then simply add the email addresses you want.
4. Remember to click ‘Create Account’ once you are finished adding an email address.

How to set up outgoing emails (How to send emails with the business email address)

Step 1.

To set up outgoing email you will require some information from your Control Panel.

1. Login to your Control Panel.
2. Click the ‘Webmail’ icon.
3. Then click ‘Go to Secure Webmail Login’. This opens up a new screen.
4. Click the ‘Configure Mail Client’ icon. The settings you need are here.
5. Copy your ‘Manual Settings’ into a word document for ease of use.

The settings will look like this:

Manual Settings

Mail Server Username: yourusername
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourwebaddress.co.uk
Incoming Mail Server: (SSL) server1.roslinhosting.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourwebaddress.co.uk (server requires authentication) port 25
Outgoing Mail Server: (SSL) server1.roslinhosting.com (server requires authentication) port 465
Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS)
Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)

Step 2.

Everybody uses a different email system. We need to find the right instructions for setting up your specific email (perhaps you use Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook Express, etc?).

YouTube is an excellent source for video tutorials. Go to www.youtube.com and type ‘Add IMAP or POP3 account to Gmail/Hotmail/etc… ‘. Then follow the instructions.
